- Elizabeth Cady Stanton~ In 1840 she attended to the worlds Anti-Slavery Convention in London, England while she was on her honeymoon. She played a big role to various movements. She also founded the National Women's Suffrage Association in 1869 with Susan B Anthony. For about 6 years she wrote and spoke with a passion about the rights for women.
- Seneca Falls Convention~ The first public meeting about women's rights held in the U.S. Located in Seneca Falls, New York and first opened in July 19, 1848. Discussed the Declaration of Sentiments.
Declaration of Sentiments~ A document with detailed beliefs about social injustice towards women.
- Lucy Stone~ A well known spokes person for the Anti- Slavery Society.
- Susan B Anthony~ She was on the gold dollar quarter in 1979. She brought strong organizational skills to the women rights movement.
- Abolition Movement~ This movement is against slavery. Women fought for this before even fighting for their own rights.
- Abolitionists~ Specific people that fight for slavery.
